Sherlock Holmes (theatre)

One of literature's most beloved detectives is the next target for the deceptively and delightfully silly Pantaloon Theatre Company. Their Spring 2014 tour of Sherlock Holmes is the first of three shows they are touring in their tenth anniversary year and this one has the (probable) advantage of utilising indoor venues! There are two Eastbourne performances, both on the same day and at the Devonshire Park Theatre.

Dynamic detective duo Holmes and Watson are put through their paces as they tackle their most fiendish case yet in this delightfully inventive and hilarious show for all ages featuring live music, audience interaction and more mystery than you can shake a magnifying glass at. I've embedded a +YouTube trailer at the end of this post. It actually shows open-air performances from last summer's tour and is all of the bits the Pantaloons could include without ruining the best gags and plot twists!

Devonshire Park Theatre, Wed 16th April, 14:30 and 19:45.
Tickets various prices, available online, by calling 01323 412000 or in person from the Eastbourne Theatres Box Office and Eastbourne Tourist Information Centre.
